Here is my card for the CAS challenge today; Use Your Words.
I used the same stencil as yesterday but used it in a different way. Instead of applying the ink over the stencil onto the paper, I applied the Distress ink onto the back of the stencil, sprayed with water and then pressed it onto my white cardstock. It gives you a different look then applying ink in the usual way.
When dry, I used my new SSS set.

Good to be neighbors! : ) Love your bg...looks like a wool tweed in fashion colors wit the texture you have incorporated into your stamping. I know it is "all about the words", but I'm always enthralled by your creative bgs, Karen.

What a terrific background! I really hope I remember to try this with some of my stencils. Very creative and a great card!

Every time I see one of your cards, Karen, I wish that you lived close to me. Although, that's probably a good thing because you'd have a stalker!! Love this card!
