This is for Sillyfilly's challenge to the twisted sistahs to make a card after being inspired by a designer's pages, shown here - http://surya.com/designers/candice-olson/ Looking around in the chaos on my table, I found some corrugated pieces I recycled from a shipping box, that looked something like what I saw on the IC page. I masked off the sentiment attached to this stamp and tied some real twine to cover the stamped image's tie, colored the flowers with copics, sponged, rounded corners, added some ribbon to pick up the flower's colors and popped it on the front of the card - hope it passes the challenge police, since I did not use any fabric like the designer!
Thanks for looking!!

Oh, I like this one, too! In fact, it may be my favorite, just because it's pink. I really like the corrugated texture with the texture if the ribbon and the softness of the colors. It's an unexpected pairing that works very well!

I love your use of the shipping box, Sue and love the way you used the newsprint! I've always love the colors pink and brown! The background paper mimes the paper on your beautifully colored flowers too!
Your card is so pretty. I love how you colored your tulips and how you used the corrugated paper. This is an inspiration challenge so you can use what ever you want. No police around here. Thanks for playing along.
