FS414 (1-11-2015) Featured Stamper Ann aka Dockside!
I am gathering any inspiration I can for 2015 Christmas Cards. Ann's gallery is filled with delightful cards of all sorts. I was inspired by her gorgeous, gorgeous Starry Winter's Night
I die cut the tress with Sizzix/Hero Arts stamp and die-cut set. The dp has a nice chevron print and I used a white PITT artist pen by Faber-Castell to give the appearance of snow, and also added Rouge Liquid pearls drops. The bow is a memory box die that is beyond tiny. I needed to use a toothpick to fold and glue.
Congrats Ann and thank you for sharing your wonderful gallery of fabulous creations at SCS!
I really like how you used the chevron tree on the tree. I added a lot of dimension to the tree. This is a cute card. Good for you working on Christmas cards.

Very clever way to use chevron paper - I thought it was a stamp when I saw your group shot. Love the way you embellished the trees with the white pen and the pearls, and used a stitched rectangle for it.

Absolutely perfect! Your gallery is one of my favorites (although you'd never know it, based on my fly-by tendencies and no comments). You have such an amazing ability to make very clean, simple designs absolutely stunning! Thanks for all of the inspiration, all of the time (and I'll try to be better about the comments...)!

How clever you are Angela to take such good advantage of that chevroned DP! I love that you have created a Christmas card. You probably noticed that I enjoy making Christmas cards a lot! :-) That little bow topper looks wonderful and balances the chevroned line across the bottom nicely. I really love this CAS look! Your gallery is one I admire a lot so I am so very happy you found some inspiration in mine. Thank you!
