I decided to go with flowers because that was my first thought for this challenge. And I wanted dessert so I used the EF in an oval and mounted my flower on a smaller oval. The flower got a little dark on me so I am not really happy with the shading, but it was getting late.

Beautiful b'day card, Pat, with the one flower and bud in intense purple and then surrounded with beautifully embossed framing. Love the casual spatters that you added...an artistic touch.
