Today's challenge is to be monochromatic. I needed a sympathy card so I went with the classic black and white. I had the tree die cut on my desk so this came out pretty quickly. My wish for all is that you never need this kind of card throughout 2015.

Beautiful card to express your sympathies, Kathy. Black and white is an elegant choice and your die cut is a perfect design. It's a good wish, Kathy....but life has a way of throwing us curves.

Why is it we look to trees for comforting views when we are in need? This works so well as a sympathy card. That die cut is beautiful; what a timeless scene. I think this card will be very appreciated by the recipient. Sorry for the need. TFS

Using nature on sympathy cards is so comforting to me at these difficult times. I am sure it will bring great comfort to the loved ones left behind.
