I was inspired by Helen Musselwhite's work, especially the trees with the woodland animals (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/426082814717898166/) and used this holiday card as the background for my paper strip weaved card. Added a Santa postage stamp, and a foam penguin. Still have my small Christmas Tree up

Isn't that an amazing scene you used for inspiration? The paper strip weaving on your card makes it look so dimensional. Great job on the repurposing of your Christmas cards.

You did a great job using a greeting card as your base, Julia! The penguin is adorable and who doesn't love Santa? Hee. Your pretty paper "weaving" behind it looks like a delightful print, too.
