This week's color challenge is super fun again: Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Whisper White. I made my flowers from a SU! flower punch that I don't think I have used before because I could never think of how to use it. I embossed my paper, then rubbed white paint over the embossing. I punched/cut my flowers, leaves, and butterfly and formed them together. I needed to add a touch of Old Olive so I took some old leaves off a pick and distressed them with white craft paint.
Another birthday card done! Yay!

This is one of the prettiest shabby chic cards I have seen. Gorgeous patterns and textures...I have been dabating what to get with my Top Dog dies gift card and had rulled out the butterflies in my "final elimination round". Now I have torethink that...the butterfly on this card looks great. Pinned and faved.

Nancy, every time you do one of your flowered cards that is all dressed up like this (shabby chic, right?) I am totally bowled over - this is dimension taken to a whole new level! It looks as thogh your butterfly is emerging from the cluster of flowers - - love the way your banner unfurls right out the side! Mind blowing gorgeous, Sister!!

Awesome! This is so beautiful! I love the muted tones and all the subtle patterns. What a great job you do shading and toning down the sharp edges so to speak and making it all work together! Fantastic flower and butterfly cluster; the banner looks wonderful coming out from it. TFS
