IC473 = Using the site "The Perfect Palette", I chose THIS simple palette.
F4A253 = select a SCSer that inspires one. I have many favorites here on SCS(And I hate picking "A favorite".....seems so "contest-like".)......many with totally different and beautiful styles......then there are others who inspire me with their kind words on my work. One who falls into both categories for me is Karen Dunbrook. First, I love her CAS style with artistic techniques. I know she likes blue in all its shades. (Here's where MIX100 comes in). I chose this CARD of Karen's....made it more than a vignette and used shades of blue and gray.
Thanks for your ongoing inspiration and words of heartfelt encouragement, Karen. Sometimes I feel I am reaching my "expiration date" here on SCS and you bring me back, mf : )

So soft and peaceful. You perfectly captured the feeling of late afternoon or early morning in a snowy winter. Please don't say you feel you might be reaching your expiration date on SCS - I would miss seeing your cards so very much!

Whenever I see your gorgeous watercolored cards, I get so inspired that I give it a try. By the abscence of watercolored cards in my gallery, you can guesd at how unsuccesful those atempts are. This is so pretty. Lovely shades of blue.
