Quick, before you take apart your Christmas tree, save those ornament holders...the gold metal spirals on this card are ornament holders. Such an inexpensive addition for cards - especially since I love metal on cards. After my last 2 really bizare cards, I needed something "normal" - and nothing is more normal than hearts colored with copics and pencils. The inside of this card finishes off the "thanks" with the very over used sentiment "from the bottom of my heart". Everyone can roll their eyes now. If someone sees my gallery, I look like I have multiple personalities...2 weird cards followed by this very "Hallmark greeting" type of card. For the MIX100 I used hues, tints and shades of yellow-orange. The products used are numerous and are listed in the below. I did cheat a little on the SC, but I figured that the challenge police are full of holiday good cheer and will be in a forgiving mood. So, I wanted to send everyone a little holiday laugh. Here in Southern California, all the shopping malls have huge palm trees in the parking lot. For Christmas they wrap Christmas lights around the trunks of the palm trees...no beautiful pine trees here. TFL, Francie

That colour palette is making me think of toffees and caramels and all sorts of sweet treats. Love the little polka dot bow.
I have to confess, not being at all a shopper, that this year is the first time I had noticed ornament hangers - I thought they looked like a great idea because always I am having to tie new loops of cording or yarn onto some of our older ornaments. But I didn't get them, and I won't regret it because they were green plastic and wouldn't have looked as pretty (pretty at all, even) on cards as your gold ones!
Ha! I look like I have some sort of artsy disorder myself, my gallery is all over the place.
This is gorgeous! I saw it on the gallery: recent uploads page and it just jumped out at me.
The spirals are a really cool addition to your card! Beautiful!
Now you have me curious. I have to go to your gallery and check out the other card. I found the one that looks like worms to me...now I need to see what other interesting card you created!

This is gorgeous. I loved it immediately. Your hearts look amazing. Love the highlighting on the hearts. What a great idea to use the hangers on your card. You have me thinking. Of course the ones on my tree aren't nearly as pretty as yours. Great card.

Oh, Francie, this is GORGEOUS! I love the colors, and your hearts have so much dimension - wow! And what a great idea to use Christmas ornament wires!! I'm with you about decorating, since we live in South Florida and do the same with our palm trees - lots of lights! Thanks for sharing this beautiful card, sweet friend! Hugs! (So glad I saw this on FB!)
