This is for F4A253 and our challenge today is to case someone who inspires and supports us. It didn't take me long to hop on over to Karen Dunbrook's aka k dunbrook gallery. Karen is definitely one of the "Queens" of clean and simple here on SCS. I am always inspired by her beautiful work and especially love her watercolor flower projects. I was inspired by Karen's Beautiful Life hollyhocks. How gorgeous and perfectly crisp, clean and simple.
I kept Karen's same basic layout and hollyhock theme. I applied the ink on the Full Bloom Hollyhocks stamp with distress markers, misted lightly and stamped on the card base. I applied little dabs of extra ink using my Waterbrush and reinkers. I cut a set of the hollyhocks using the matching die set, water colored them with a brush and reinkers and formed them with my stylus and molding pad. I attached the die cut hollyhocks to the card base with glossy accents and added the fence to add another garden touch to the scene.
Karen, thank you for being such an inspiration and such a supportive community member here on SCS. You are admired and treasured by many.

What gorgeous hollyhocks, Kittie! They remind me of Greece, where they grow as wildflowers along the roadside. But they look fabulous planted on your card behind that lovely fence!

What a gorgeous card Kittie. The bold, bright red flowers are striking against the white fence. I have a mental block about CASE cards and can never do them, so I wanted to write a thanks for all the great ideas that you so generously explain...I sure have used them. Your talent is amazing.
