This is a really weird card, even for me. I can blame it on 2 things. This is the second time I have tried to make a bright sunflower card using this weeks CC510, since I thought of sunflowers as soon as I saw the colors....obviously, the sunflower idea was hi jacked by this bizare creation. The other reason for this odd design is probably because I get a mild case of the Christmas/ New Years blues - no need for concern, it goes away after Jan. 2 arrives. I doodled the circle thing because I wanted to practice copic shading. It was a case of serendipity when I saw the SC520 used a circle. I was just going to have the circle on a square card, but then my son made the comment that it looked like a snake. That comment was followed by my DH who thought it looked a little like what my dog leaves on our lawn. I certainly did not want a card that looked like poop or snakes, so I tried to save it by tearing the middle to create more of an abstract design...it still looks like poop to me. Anyway, when I saw Sabrina's challenge to make a thank you, I free handed the words, uploaded it here, and stuck it in my growing collection of cards for "slightly unusual people". Merry Christmas to all. TFL, Francie
P.S. I went back to edit some spelling mistakes and had to add this thought. After reading some comments I decided this card would be good for those psychology ink blot tests....what does the image look like to you? The fact that it looks like poop to me does not bode well for my personality.

I thought of a sweeper hose turned snake with that mouth! Weird, but highly unusual and for some reason eye-catching. And, I mean that as a compliment...great free hand work!

When I first saw it (our laptop is like your Dolly, very old, and very slow, so photos emerge a bit at a time) it reminded me of chocolates - the Belgian praline ones with white chocolate and a hint of dark chocolate, that come in the shape of different types of seafood. Your colouring is totally amazing, Francie, there's so much depth and dimension to your focal circle.

Great expression! Intestines, I guess.... LOVE this card, love the shading, the free expression, the creativity, the lack of inhibition. Dark days are ok too. Thanks for sharing of yourself with us here.
It's cool! I love how artsy it is with the banner, polka dots and "thank you" font. It's definitely eye catching. Wouldn't it be interesting to find out what it means by what we see? So first off, it reminds me of worms. Worms from a science fiction book with crazy teeth! I don't know why, I don't have anything to do with worms. But the next thing I thought of..........lol............the colon and intestines! (I am going to have my first ever colonoscopy soon and I am dreading it!)So there you go!
Francie whatever each of sees, it's really gorgeous art.
PS tangles can be dangerous! I once created an apple and the center apple seed ended up looking a bit xrated! I knew I was in trouble when I asked hubs what he saw and without hesitation he said.......

Francie, you say weird, I say abstract and I LOVE it! Your coloring, drawing and hand lettering are phenomenal! Each of your creations is unique and imaginative. I will never tire of seeing them. You have mastered copics!
