This card is for today's color challenge and also for a set of cards I am making. My daughter invited a friend for Christmas this year, since her friend does not have any family in the area. I wanted to give her a small gift, and would ordinarily give chocolates from the shop I work at. But I remembered that she does not like chocolate. So I decided to make her a set of cards. My DD says her friend has a fat yellow cat that she adores and another cat that is black. So cat cards seemed appropriate. I saw this challenge posted last night and it was already very late, but I had already decided that I needed a card with a black cat, so this color challenge fit the bill perfectly. I used More Mustard instead of Hello Honey because I had already used More Mustard on another card I made for this set and I had a scrap piece left over and the two colors are very close in tone. This came together pretty quickly. To see the other cat cards in this set, check out my gallery.

This is a great card, and a thoughtful gift. Love the substitution of More Mustard.mgreat effect with the striped background, and the "grounding" doodle.
