Peggy is our hostess this week, and like me, she is finished with red and green for a while; so I was pleased when she challenged us to use Basic Black, Whisper White and Hello Honey. Her dessert option is "Words of Encouragement." I've always loved this quote from Eleanor Roosevelt, and enjoyed the opportunity to use this stamp on my card, along with some small pieces of DS papers that I've really enjoyed.
I sponged the white layer while it was still in the die, giving a lovely white border. Love that technique! I also sculpted the flowers slightly with an embossing stylus and mouse pad.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week. Merry Christmas to you and best wishes for a happy, healthy New Year!

Classic, elegant and encouragement front and centre!! You have it all on this lil' beauty, Barbara. Lovely, delicate floral to further beautify it all. May your Christmas be a thing of beauty and blessing, too.
