I made this card for a recent color challenge I had missed, plus Chercher's VSN challenge "Torn Snow."
This is the first time I have used this image. After stamping it in the challenge color (early espresso) I colored it in with other shades of brown. I rarely do masking, but I really wanted trees behind this horse. The scene is larger than I anticipated, so I only have 2 layers of torn snow, but I really like it. I made 2 of these (mostly to use up some dsp scraps) and will send one to my nephew tomorrow...the other is yet unclaimed. *wink*
You can still upload VSN cards until Sunday Dec 21st, 10 pm EST. Join the fun!

I have a niece who would love this! Great job with the masking; your trees look fabulous. I really like the snowy one! The twine embellishment really fits your theme. Fantastic card for a guy or gal!

I missed this when it was new. I seriously never thought to make a Christmas card with this horse. Into my favorites it goes - I will case it for mailing this year!
