Cathy's WT Challenge was to create an ornament. I made a card for next year's stash with an ornament on it.
The bg is a recycled Christmas card. On top of that is a PTI die cut that was partially crimped and had Snow-Tex applied. I spattered the acetate with acrylic and placed that on top of the scene....shiny side out.

I have a glass ornament with an intricately painted scene on the inside. It is like a little world all on its own. Your gorgeous winter scene within your ornament reminds me of that. Love the fact that you've reused a card and made it into something wonderful. TFS

I love the idea of using a recycled Christmas card for the background and adding to it! What a perfect choice too, with the deer in the distance. The scene within the ornament was a wonderful idea for this challenge! Your colors are wonderful using the pale gray to compliment your bright blue! Beautifully done!

Sallie this is wonderful. I magnified my screen to look at everything - the little deer and trees in the bg and the wonderful snowy scene in the front - so peaceful. tfs

Ah Sallie, what a great scene on your constructed ornament! If I hadn't been so intent on using my new die, I would have read the instructions for one of those. I love the crimped drifts of snow!
