This card is for today's SCS Color Combination Challenge~Olives and Cherries in the Sky. Karen is our hostess and her dessert option is fussy cutting. The only thing I cut and fussed over was the ribbon. It was a bear to work with tonight, lol! I have had this Santa colored up and ready for a card for over a year now. Thought I better use him! Thank you Mary!
The layout for my card is this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #166.
Come on over and join in the challenge!
Enjoy!

Oh, Peggy, I love how you have colored your Santa! His face is so realistic and lifelike, and his beard explodes with snowflakes and sparkles. Love the DS paper and especially that row of oh-so-straight red rhinestones. So pretty!

Peggy, that is just THE most perfect plaid for this challenge and your Santa sits beautifully on it with his healthy skin tone and flake and sparkle bedecked beard. Actually, I wouldn't mind that plaid done up in a fun pair of holiday leggings)!!

I am so glad that Santa finally made his annual appearance on your card. Beautifully colored Santa on a perfectly-matched background, and I love the embellishments (the ribbon and the pearls). Traditional, lovely Santa. Hope this is the same Santa that visits our house!!

One of my very favorite Santa images which you have colored beautifully, Peggy. The plaid DP couldn't have been more perfect with the challenge colors.
