When I first read this challenge I was a bit stumped. We had to use something that shimmers on a sympathy card. I'm not known to be a big bling or shimmer cardmaker. So I decided to go with a PTI set that I use a lot for sympathy cards. I like the simplicity of it. I used neutrals to give it a more masculine look and my shimmer part is the gold stickles that I added to the flowers. There..not so hard after all

Polly, I'm not a shimmer person either! If that is stickles on your flowers, what a fabulous job you did! They look like studs or enamel dots! What a wonderful idea and love that image!

What a dramatic card...just that one powerful image set off center. Just stunning. The matting is perfect. Your card is my ideal...to make a truely CAS card that is this striking. Into my favs for this week since I missed it on Sunday.
