Today at Sally Allnock’s Blog she showed us how to make an “Adapted” Trifold Shutter Card. She made it look so easy, I had to give it a try. For the details on the trifold template check out her blog at http://sandyallnock.com/adapted-trif...ard-revisited/ .
I started with making the card base. You use a piece 5.5 x 12 and end up with an A2 card. I decorated the panels using various Christmas card stocks from my stash. For the cover I used a die from Spellbinders called Moroccan Motifs. I thought they kind of looked like snowflakes. I cut out the largest die for the base for my little bear elf called Claudia Loves Christmas by Miss Muffet, and the smallest as a snowflake embellishment for the inside of the card. I coloured her with Copic markers, fussy cut her out and set aside. Next I cut out all the pieces to layer on my card. The main sentiment is from was a freebie from Whimsey Doodle called Sentiment – Elves Watching. I assembled the pieces are here is the final result…
