These two Christmas moonlight tags are for Robins fun Free for All Challenge - Tag Team.
I started with an A4 sheet of smooth white cardstock, white school glue and a large sheet of aluminium foil. I once lost 4 hours of my life trying to get glue off my craft mat, hence my love of al foil.
Drizzle long lines of glue up and down the A4 cardstock then using a scrunched up bit of foil (or clingwrap) dab and squish the glue in random spots. Allow to thoroughly dry. I get impatient, so in my mixed media box I have a few pre glue-resist A4 sheets ready to go.
On the foil in a few places firmly smack some distress inks and give it a good spritz of water. Still leaving the A4 sheet as one piece, swish it around the inky puddle. Smack some more ink on foil and spritz again, this time use a sponge and blending tool to mop up the inky water and scrub directly over the cardstock.
No matter how many photos I took in different light, these tags look blue. They are actually turqoise, I used Peacock Feathers and Evergreen Bough distress inks. I cut the sheet up and made 4 tags and 4.5" x 4.5" square for a card from the one A4 piece.
The moon is some bright and sparkly childrens craft foam, it was too thick to punch out a circle so I punched a circle in the actual cardstock, then stuck a glittery square at the back.
The little house tag is supposed to look like fireworks or decorations in the background. It is a diecut that tore in the middle LOL.

Susie, Susie, Susie, how can we even begin to emulate these stunning tags! You will leave me behind in the dust. But I will try. I love the silvery moons....makes me think of the song, 'By the light of the silvery moon'.

Super gorgeous tags! We haven't seen the sun in about a week, it's gloomy and difficult to get a good color shot, so I feel your disdain. However, I am taken with the blue color that comes across, I am sure the turquoise is as lovely. You were so descriptive with your glue and ink technique that I literally had a video going in my head. TFS!
