This card came about from trying to fix what I messed up in the first place. I had embossed the poinsettias and colored them, was pretty happy with it until I added modeling paste through the Falling Snow stencil. It looked awful for some reason and I had really given up on it. But since I hardly ever throw anything away, it was sitting on my table taunting me for days.
I sanded it back as much as I could without damaging the paper and painted over the design with a VersaMark pen. I brushed on Perfect Pearls, swirled it in, brushed off the excess and polished it with a piece of old t-shirt. I had to fussy cut them because the background was a mess!
The white bg layer was misted with Shimmer Spritz through the Falling snow stencil (I can't seem to leave that alone!) and matted with green shimmer cs. I attached the poinsettias with foam tape and added the corners. Love how it turned out!
As always, thanks for looking!

Always nice when you can rescue a mistake! This turned out a lovely card and it's good that you went back to the falling snow stencil and showed it whose boss! It's kind of like a horse that throwed you, get up get back on! Your stencil will not give you trouble any more now!
