Today's inspirational site is Papyrus Online. It was perfect for the difficult card I wanted to make. We lost a very good friend on Thanksgiving night. He was my husband's childhood friend and hunting buddy. Bob loved nothing better than nature....he could spend hours watching the stars or hunting. I chose this card .. http://www.papyrusonline.com/greetin...nce-quote.html
I embossed the stars and used chalk for the sponging. Cut the die and sponged with ink. Added the sentiment. IRL the colors are much softer. tfl

Condolences on your loss, Linda. This is a beautiful card that captures the two things you mentioned about Bob. Great inking and emb stars and so neat that it looks like the deer is looking at the sky.

I'm so sorry for your loss (and your husbands'). This card is perfect in every way. The focus on nature, the colours and most of all the touching sentiment. It will be treasured.
