I snatched some time for stamping this morning while waiting for DH to arrive home after staying overnight with his mother - yay!
I combined Lydia's Hip To Be Square MIX97 challenge with today's IC470 Papyrus Online challenge.
I went "shopping" for something that I could work into a 2" square, and when I found this Elegant Peacock soap that was it!
I stamped part of the peacock stamp onto a scrap of watercolour paper and embossed it with pewter EP.
Then I coloured it with Twinkling H2Os and a little pencil. I added Stickles to some of it. Then I edged the piece with a gold pen, and then added some chunky EP, and rubbed in some luster rub-ons. Went over the edge again with gold Stickles. There were some Perfect Pearls stencilled on there too, but I think they've disappeared under everything else.
I used Gorgeous Grunge to stamp a little on my front, after dry embossing the frame. I added some chunky white EP and some tiny dots of gold Stickles, and finished it off with a sentiment from Verve.

This is truly a work of art, Sabrina. I immediately saw peacock colors when I saw your card. What a labor intense job, but what a fantastic outcome. Gorgeous!

OH HOW TERRIFIC! This is a gorgeous master piece in just 2 inches. So many techniques...so little room. I have added this to my recently created pinterest CAS board. You achieved so much texture, color and interest in such a small space. The light splatter on the white area and the embossed outer square frame are terrific design elements. Right into my favs.
