A few weeks ago a friend lent me the wonderful Stampendous Snowy Postcard stamp. I stamped it several times and then left them sitting on my desk. Then I saw today's Ways to Use It challenge "To the Post" and decided it was perfect for it and also for last Friday's Mixability challenge "Snowy Scenes".
My mixed media are: ink to stamp the image; Distress ink to sponge lightly inside the oval and more darkly around the edges; coloured pencils to add colour to the houses and holly; glossy accents for the holly berries; Frantage chunky embossing powder for the snow on the roofs of the buildings; and Frantage Shabby Blue Embossing Enamel scattered over the sky and ground and heated from underneath for the snow.

Susan, love how you used this image on your Christmas card, The snowy scene is done to perfection and the coolness of the grays contrasts so wonderfully with the warm tones of your buildings, You captured falling snow perfectly.

GREAT card Susan! LOVE the gold image. the falling snow and the textured snowy roofs. As an afterthought, I added the "vine" to mine because it was "missing" something. Looking at yours I realized I forgot to distress ink around it. Dah! Next time.
