I love birch trees and just did a card using a stamp of birch trees, and then remembered I had die cut some birch trees when at Loll Thompson's house, so finally got them out and used them (thank you, Loll, for sharing your supplies!).
I flicked masking fluid on the background for snow, and then sponged with two blue Distress inks. I cut a snowy hill out of a scrap of white cs and sponged it with pale blue to give some snowbanks and definition. I coloured the birds that are part of the die cut with a red marker and added a brown reindeer die cut and a dark blue sentiment.

Love your falling 'mask' snow; so effective! The bright red birds are true to Cardinal form and are as eye catching as the real thing! Love your little woodland scene. TFS
