This card was made to send to a very ill little girl whose grandparents are hoping she gets a lifetime of Christmas cards sent to her this year. Here's her story if you're interested in spreading some joy. My youngest DD and I made some Gelli prints today so we could make a card for Addie. We used 4 colors of blue acrylic paints and some white spread over the snowflake stencil. This is a print made after cleaning off the plate and laying the wet stencil face up to take a print with the snowflakes left blank. I added some darker chalk ink around the edges. I punched 2nd snowflakes out of another print and glued those over the stencil flakes which I'd accented with Gelly roll pens. I stamped off my Turquoise ink for the flourish then stamped the sentiment full strength over it. I punched my notch using the hexagon punch and used my MS light blue to add color along the edges. I used the Sketch Challenge sketch modifying it with the narrow sentiment instead of a circle to reveal more of the big snowflakes. I accented the left panel with ribbon over the turquoise base.
