Here is my card for the CAS challenge today; trees.
I made the wood grain paper....seriously, it couldn't be EASIER!! TRY IT plse!
Here's what I did....I applied lines of Elmers School Glue onto my cs then when dry, I rubbed my Distress ink pads over that and sprayed with water to blend. Then I scored lines and then stamped the trees with Stazon. Love the look of the woodgrain. May have to give this masculine card to my DS...he loves the outdoors.

Oooh karen your woodgrain is beautiful and I love the sketch you used! I'm seeing this a lot lately and need to give it a try!

Wow! I love the look of that woodgrain! Into my favourites this goes for sure. I really like the way you tilted your panel. Of course I think the tree silhouettes are fabulous! Wonderful card for a guy (or anyone)!

Wow, what a great effect you got from the glue and distress inks!! I am going to try that! Love the trees too! My DH loves all the tree things I do too!
