I had my monthly “sassy stampers” class this past weekend and the focus was using the four different Stampin’ Up! envelope template sets. I gave the stampers a choice between two colors and then they could choose from a myriad of sayings. I also gave a little monologue on what the USPS mailing requirements are for envelopes (and when the extra 13 cent surcharge applies) and then gave them a photocopy of the USPS “Letter-Size Mail Dimensional Standards Template”. This is the second of four cards. This card uses the A-7 size envelope from Template Assortment #1. I wanted to show that you don’t need to have doublesided paper to have a doublesided look – just take patterned paper and stamp on the reverse side.

FYI, I've posted a scanned copy of the letter-size mail dimensional standards template in Forums/Resources and it includes a link to the USPS web page that discusses in greater detail the dimensional requirements. Hope this helps. Also, I'd suggest going to your local post office and asking for your own template (or at least getting a photocopy of theirs).
