For today's TLC, Joan asked us to use scrap papers to make a bkgrd. I planned to angle the strips of scrap SU dp and MFT gray on a white card base and angle the sentiment atop that. Period. The card evolved when I decided to totally change up my sketch + design. By the time I finished, I realized I had used the scraps to make a panel for my sentiment and the layered heart and not the entire card base. Ooops! Hopefully the TLC police won't come after me. I'll try to not "swerve" on my next TLC card. Hee!
SENTIMENT: I offset the white chipboard "thanks" cut over a black cut for the "shadowy" look.
THANKS for looking!

I love that we start out in one direction, and often get pulled in another! I love the way your card turned out with the RED!

Yes, we so often start in one way and end up with totally different end result. Yours turned out beautiful!! I love the layout of the panels on a diagonal against the black background!

Ha, that is the beauty of card making, Gabby, constantly changing and adding!! This is a lovely card using these scraps (I still have quite a bit of that floral dp left!) and super large sentiment!!
