Good Morning,
Here is my card for the IC today from Sur La Table. As you all know, I love making bkgs and this one is a modified version of the one in the Techniques section called Faux Barnboard seen here: Faux Barn Board Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers I didn't follow the directions exactly and also added scoring to mine and rubbed an ink pad over the whole thing when dry.

I added the die cut and done. Love how it looks.

I should have looked at this before I tried to do my faux wood bg today. Love this! Wonderful rustic feel and great card - Into my faves. Hugz

I've done the faux barnwood technique, Karen...but my results were NEVER this beautiful! I would have thought this was purchased "wood" paper had you not described what you did. With the beautiful die cuts mounted on top, you have created one STRIKING and BEAUTIFUL card!!
