This is my card for the MMTPT330 challenge "Twinkle and Maple Wrap Things Up". Gabby spun a delightful tale that translated into the challenge to bring festively wrapped gifts to the teapot party.
This was an easy, if kind of messy, card to create. I started by applying a wide pice of double sided adhesive to a scrap of lightweight cs, removing the liner and carefully laying down the outline sticker. The liner was placed over the sticker and burnished well with a bone folder to make sure it was well attached. Remove the liner and apply the glitter liberally, tapping off the excess and burnishing the glitter with your fingers to be sure all the adhesive is well covered. This also really brings out the sparkle in the glitter. You can also glitter the cs and then attach the sticker, but attaching the sticker first assures it stays down and helps keep the markers from bleeding. To color the image, lightly touch the tip of your marker to the glitter - dab, don't stroke - to prevent damage to the marker.
After coloring the image, I cut it out and and applied lots of foam tape to the back. After embossing the sentiment on the card base, the focal image was attached, and one corner rounded.
I'd say these sparkly packages are definitely festive!
As always, thanks for looking!

What a super job. Lov the sparkle that you added to your gifts. Sounds like a labor intense process, but the end results were well worth the time spent making this great card.

Wow - this must be fantastic with all that glitter! I haven't tried that with outline stickers. I know it's hard to stick stuff to glitter, so I'll be sure to use the sticker on paper and then add glitter. Gorgeous card!
