I was up with Dolly the insomniac dog at 3am and resisted the urge to start cooking the Thanksgiving turkey. Even though I was awake, me creativity was missing. I decided to CASE one of my own cards. Colored the flowers and leaves with copics and colored an extra flower to fussy cut. The black checked circle border is something I drew and colored with black gel pen. I did not add a sentiment since I am not sure how I will use this. If I need another Christmas card I can add a holiday sentiment and a little sparkling glitter glue since the colors are good for Christmas. Other wise I can just add a birthday sentiment. Happy Thanksgiving to all the fellow Americans, and "happy almost the weekend day" to all of my international friends. TFL, Francie

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Francie. It may be "almost the weekend" here, but I celebrate Thanksgiving in my heart, the one time I visited the States I was there for Thanksgiving, and my mother had just come out of hospital after a heart attack. She's dead ten years now, but she went on to live ten years after her heart attack.
I love your card, very Mary Engelbreit!! It also makes me think of a flower-bedecked boater hat, with the brim and ribbon-like pennants.

Happy Thanksgiving, Francie! I can't believe you can create these spectacular cards at that hour! Love the border you drew for these beautifully colored flowers! The black die cuts and background papers are gorgeous!
Oh, I agree with Sabrina I see Mary Engelbreit and a flower hat, Beautiful card! Insomniac dog...Woof! Our doggie of 14 yrs is keeping us up at night and found out he had an UTI. 2 weeks of antibiotics he's sleeping better but something still isn't right, mother's know these things! PM if you want to chat we had a work up on him and still going back to the vet. You & your doggie and everyone he is keeping up is in my prayers. TFS your card, it's Beautiful!

Francie, your cards are always beautiful, but the thing that always grabs me the most is the elements that you freehand draw. They are amazing! I love this card with its beautifully colored flowers.
