Today's Technique Lovers' Challenge (Layered Die-Cuts) and the CAS Challenge (Winter Wildlife) were perfect to use together on one card.
I made a mask for my snow, then sponged the sky in two tones of blue. Then sponged a bit of gold ink where the star was to go. Stamped the trees in green and added glitter to the trees and the snow banks. The star and deer were die-cut three times and glued together. The panel is bordered with the same gold cs as the star, and a gold heat-embossed sentiment added beneath.

Your soft sponged sky is just beautiful! And the scene, with the deer kneeling in the snow and looking up at the glowing star is just so serene and peaceful.

This is just lovely. I really like the way you sponged around the star!
