Wow! Is the decoration & decor fabulous for these antiques or what? I could look at them all day! I was really inspired by the pictures & colors on THIS post. And the Basic Grey paper I used is way over 2 years old!
I know turkeys aren't usually this colorful but I wanted him all decked out in his Thanksgiving finery. We have a flock of wild turkeys that come through our back yard pretty regularly & I can assure you they are nowhere near as cute & colorful as this little guy. After coloring, I did a little out of the box on the tips of his feathers & sponged a little color around the inside while he was still in the die. I added a rusty brown frame & a few layers behind him. The stamped, die cut leaves and greeting are from Our Daily Bread designs.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

What a great Thanksgiving card Julie. The turkey is so fun, and the wooden frame and leaves/acorns are all perfect on this card. Fun! Hugz
