Description: This is my first card to post. I found the little do-dad with colors that matched the challenge so I built the card around it. It's just a no sentiment "any occasion" card. I like to make matching envelopes for my cards but not sure of the protocols for posting various angles (interior/back/envelopes) etc. I sponge dabbed the leaves on the paper on the inside with lime to carry the pear/lagoon theme and touched up the flower centers with silver ink pen. Dessert: the silver paper medallion gave me fits because the paper has a plastic backing the refused to cut through-so just go with it: looks embossed but it's a failed die cut! I hope you like my card and send me tips on how to photograph and display my cards for the next challenge.

Congratulations on your first uploaded card. I kind of like how you photographed your card. I like the angle and seeing the inside. Pretty neat that you did the envelope too. I like your pretty card.

Welcome! So glad you've joined us for the Color Challenges, and I hope we see you each week! I love how you build the card around the central "doo-dad." It's very pretty, and I love the decorations inside as well as the custom envelope. I don't think you need any tips--this photo is great!

Welcome!!! So glad you are sharing your creation with us. I hope to see many more. Lovely card! And I LIKE that it doesn't have a sentiment. Sometimes we think every card has to have word on it...but we really don't need. Keeping things simple is "A-OK" in my book ;)
