I just love red for Christmas and decided to color my Christmas Rose red, even though they are white or pale pink/rose. I colored it, added some shimmer with Spica glitter pens, and paper pierced it (of course). I decided to use Labels 8 and Decorative Labels 8 for a shaped card and added some gold cord above the sentiment. Since the ODBD challenge is a word challenge using “blessings,” I managed to use every letter (that I’ve listed on my blog – can you guess them?). Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it!

WOW Cheryl! The coloring and color are spectacular! I love seeing flowers in their nontraditional colors. That framing is gorgeous! I have never done a filigree hinged card and hope when I get there this winter, you would consider showing me!

What a wonderful card. The beautiful red roses are perfect and your choice of matching card for your die frame works so well with it. I like how you add so much to the card with that perfect piercing. Another perfect creation.
