Photo is of front/back opened up. My son is turning 25 next week, and, according to google search, having a cake that looks like a US Quarter is the thing to do - so i used that as my card idea. I found image of a quarter and altered it in Photoshop to add 'In Gabriel We Trust', as well as using a profile photo of him and merging it onto head shot of George Washington. I printed that out in B/W and fussy cut, and used dimensional foam to mount. I printed the coin onto silver shimmer CS and sprayed a fixative on top since the ink smears on shimmer CS. I cut the circles, leaving the edge attached. (forgot the make bottom flat, so now I need to make a little stand!). For the back, I used a California quarter back since that is where he was born, and altered the issue date to be year he was born. I had to spray with fixative, then use a gray thin marker to trace those lines since my pic was quite pixelated when I enlarged it. I sprayed another layer of fixative after the marker touch up. Now I just need to find an envelope this large. My card base is white watercolor paper, with the silver glued on top.

i am not a master of Photoshop Elements by any means. I used the clone stamp tool to "pick up" the silver color and therefore cover over the text i wanted to change, then i just typed in my son's info. I then inserted the jpg into a powerpoint slide. I like the 'nudging' in powerpoint better than in Word. I just pulled the image to the size I wanted (printed many test copies on junk paper) then popped in the nice paper and printed.
