Ok, this one is way outside my box, but it was fun to make. Dabbed distress ink on my craft mat, spritzed with water, dragged tag through. Ripped music note dsp into small pieces, glued on tag, then spritzed with shimmer spritz to blend. Dabbed edges of tag and music dsp with distress ink. Gold embossed splats on top of that. Blended inks on the bow, gold embossed the outline, gold embossed the bells, punched greenery, and assembled for bell focal point. Added gold gem to bow, and frost stickles to the greenery. Added bow and gold cording. Whew, that was a LOT of stuff - but all easy to do and very forgiving techniques. Linking to Loll's Christmas tag event: http://www.stampingwithloll.com

Gorgeous layering! I Love how you added and sponged your musical notes DSP then smeared you tag over spritzed Distress inks. Really a beautiful background for your bells. TFS

Great job Maura!! LOVE the layering of the ink and torn bits of musical note paper ... very artsy!! Adding the shimmer to blend everything together works beautifully. Love your layered gold bells with the frost-tipped pine sprigs and gem ... gorgeous! So glad you had fun making this mixed media tag ... thanks for playing again with my Christmas tag event! Loll xx

Love the torn paper on your tag. I have a pad of this paper and am not in love with it. You have given me something to think about and a way to move it from my stash and onto a card. If you love the paper, I would be happy to contribute to your paper collection!! Just say the word!
