This is my card for this week's Mix-Ability Challenge (MIX93). We were asked to go visit France Papillon and be inspired by her art.
I saw this pretty purple/blue color combo on one off her journal pages and went from there!
The background was made with multiple layers of purple and pink ink sprays, acrylic paint and then more sprays. Then I stamped over the top with black ink in spots.

I am just loving your background too! The color and all the depth with the different inks and sprays, just so beautiful! Your bird is wonderful with the music and sponging! Love your pretty flower too!

I love purple, and especially the depth and mystery of the background. France does have some amazing color combos, and she often uses a bird or a circle in her work too. I see how much she has influenced this piece. Thanks for making this gorgeous sample for the challenge!
