This is my sample for the MIX93 challenge - to be inspired by the artist France Papillon. I love her use of stencils, rusted metal, sewing and tall layers.
I stenciled white paint over brown cardstock, then sprayed Neenah white paper with dylusions inks, ripped them up, sewed them down, added a charm and a little wisp of seambinding, and added the spine for Edna's HYCCT challenge.

I was inspired by the white ink on the dark paper as well. This is a beautiful design.
