This is for the very last 2014 Hope You Can Cling To challenge. (sniff) And Lydia challenged us to make a card inspired by one of our favorite children's books. (sniff, sniff) So I start mentally inventorying my stamps and cross checking them against my favorite books - Anne of Green Gables? Not much to use for it. Chronicles of Narnia? Almost went there, but it would have been a really obscure reference. Charlotte's Web? Got it. I die cut the web from silver stone and went over it quickly with silver wink of stella (that stuff is freakin' awesome). I went with my least creepy looking spider. I stamped the sentiment first and then I impressed the book print into it. I was a little worried it would distort the sentiment a lot so I grabbed a thin piece of cardstock that had some circles punched out of it from my scrap pile so some of the impressed text is more defined than the rest of it.
It has been a joy and an honor to do these challenges along with you all. Lydia, you come up with the best challenges and are absolutely amazing! Thank you for everything!

Knew where you were going right from the thumbnail....love that book and the sweet friendship between Charlotte and Wilbur. Your card is a great representation of the book and i love that you included the impressed text!

This is my daughter's favorite book right now. She has read it at least 8 time! Great job on this card and congrats for finishing all of the challenges!
