What a wonderful tradition in the UK to build bonfires in remembrance of Guy Fawkes. Before I could sketch an image I needed to find a picture of a bonfire to use as my guide. I googled for bonfire images and found a photo of a HUGE bonfire in the UK! This was my CASED inspiration for my sketch. Here is the link: http://www.roundtable.co.uk/uploads/...on/bonfire.jpg
The fire, sky, and moon were all created with alcohol markers. I used a black gel pen to draw the silhouette trees and people then filled in with a black sharpie. Gel pens don't bleed on WC paper so provide a nice, sharp border.

I knew, when I saw this in the approval queue, that it just had to be for the WT challenge. Fabulous! It brings back memories of when I used to cook for Easter camps, and on Saturday night we would hike up a nearby mountain and have a midnight bonfire with sausages and baked potatoes. Those silhouettes around the fire are wonderful! Thanks for making such a great card.
