Loll has organized on her "Stamping with Loll" blog such a fun Christmas Tag Event. The only requirement is to make a Mixed Media Christmas Tag. Loll defines Mixed Media as Stamps+ Ink plus 2 elements of texture and/or dimension.
This is an Event that we can all join in by linking our tags to Loll's blog. Loll has her amazing tag sample each day along with a tag from the days Guest Designer. The gallery from Loll's friends and fans is growing every day with gorgeous and creative tags! So much Inspiration and a great way to get started on your Christmas Tags :-)
I used a new technique on my tag that uses Alcohol Markers. I Heat Embossed with White EB Powder after stamping my Ornamental Pine Image with Versamark. Then the fun began...I colored the image with my SU Blendabilities: Old Olive and Crumb Cake. So cool the way the ink sticks on the heat EB image. I also sponged the tag with Crumb Cake ink to give it a suede look. I then heat EB and fussy cut the ornament. Hope you like it.
Again, thank you so much Loll for letting me join your fun creative Tag Event.
Happy Stamping to you all...

This is a gorgeous tag Nancy!! I LOVE this technique ... and perfect with your pine branch image. The bright greens just pop off the crumb cake background. And the ornament is so pretty hanging from the branch. Thanks so much for joining me as a guest designer for my Christmas tag event. You are the best, my friend!! xx

LOVE your tag! That is the coolest pine branch image! The way you made your beautiful ornament hang from the branch is very clever. I like the way you did your sentiment at an angle across the tag.GREAT job!

Oh, I do like this technique and will give it a try! It makes the pine needles look so real! Love how you've embossed the sentiment and ornament for extra shine! Rustic and elegant!

What a neat technique to colour with alcohol markers on white ep! Love the way the tips of the branches are still white as it dusted with snow! Beautiful tag - perfect for being Loll's GD!
