on Theresa's (Misstreez) gallery when searching for one to CASE in her honour as Queen for the Day, it inspired me!
I used Antique Linen and Bundled Sage to lay down background colours, then stamped a partial French Script image over it in Frayed Burlap. Stamped and watercoloured my holly, then added the sentiment, and finally flicked a few dots of Frayed Burlap over the card. I matted with red and then a layer of cream using one of my new L'il Inkers stitched mats, and finally a red cardbase.

Fwapping!? Can someone show me!?
Susan, your background looks amazing with it's soft mottled colours. And you picked a great sample from my gallery to work this technique into a gorgeous card. Your card has a lovely vintage feel and I love the quirky little font on your sentiment.
Thank you for playing along with my gallery this week.

Gorgeous CASE of Theresa's beautiful watercolored card. Your back ground technique and holly are really stunning Susan. Love every single detail. TFS my friend.
Susan, this is just gorgeous! I thought you had stamped the holy on a panel of DP, but you made it yourself! I need to work with the distress inks more--thanks for the wonderful inspiration!
