For the last challenge for HYCCT we were supposed to make our card about our favorite childrens book. I really couldn't decide my all time favorite, but three in the running were, Peter Rabbit, The velveteen Rabbit, and Watership down. So I made a card with rabbits. I just love rabbits and I guess Beatrix Potter's stories about Peter Rabbit and his family might just edge out the other books for the top spot.

I'm not sure that I've ever read the Velveteen Rabbit, but I did love Watership Down and keep thinking I should get it out of the library and re-read it. Often when I am watching the seagulls as I walk from the bus to work, I think of Kehaar. I don't see those flowers lasting very long with rabbits around, LOL. Sweet card, Pat!

I love your coloring! Those rabbits, and the surrounding scene look great!

Before I read your description, my guess was Watership Down! Great book - lived so vividly in my imagination. And I really identify with Peter Rabbit because my friend David and I got grounded for a week for eating all our neighbor's vegetables out of their garden one day - HAHA! They were yummy
Thanks for making this beautiful card for my challenge!
