Here's the card I made for Julie's Get Smooshed Hope You Can Cling To challenge. I smooshed two colors of blue reinker between two pieces of glossy cardstock to create the sky background. I've combined the HYCCT challenge with this week's challenge at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown.
Please be assured that despite the title, no birdies were harmed in the making of this card. You can read all about it on this blog post.

Comments are always read and appreciated! Thanks for taking a closer look at my card.

I like that the tree trunk and background framing colour is the same. It somehow gives a depth to your scene I don't think it would have otherwise. (at least in my eyes!) :-) Love your smooshed sky scene. Lovely work!

Oh my gosh so darling!! I love the bg sky. Super creative how you used the tree trunk to give the illusion of a separated panel. A greatly mastered card!!

Patricia -- this is so stinkin' cute! Love the background and how it just takes on that appearance of a snowy sky! LOVE THAT! Thanks so much for joining me in all the fun with my HYCCT challenge!
