This card is for Thursday's WT503 challenge - to use something that's a favorite on your card (easy peasy is right - I knew just what I'd use for this one!), AND for today's IC465 Challenge. Today's IC website, Schweitzer Linen, was quite inspiring with so many glorious home/linen/clothing items to see. My inspiration came from the scrollwork and overall feel of this beautiful bedding set: { Scroll Art Linens }.
As for my Favorite element for Wednesday's WT503 challenge - that's the Fancy Foliage Die cuts on my project. I could seriously find a way to incorporate this die element in EVERY card I make!! It can be dressed up, dressed down, made frilly and femine, added to a masculine card, it can be cut and reshaped - and today it's adorned with little Stars and glitter - it's an all around favorite for me!!
To make this I started with the scrollwork inspiration and used die-cut frame in the new Winter Collection papers. Next I stamped, colored, and layered the die-cut Stars, Stamped the sentiment, die-cut several Fancy Foliage pieces, and then played with the layout. This card feels a little top-heavy to me, but sometimes adding more doesn't make it 'better' LOL, so I went with it. Last step was adding the glitter touches.
