I am still playing catch up on some of the HYCCT challenges, and this is for Robin's challenge of "resist....". I decided I wanted to do a wax paper resist negative for the BG of a silhouette. I do not iron the wax paper on glossy CS. I iron on just regular cs. By doing that, it gives a two toned color.
My sentiment is a SU limited edition Garden Collage, and it looks sketchy. That is the way it is supposed to be. Not sure I like it. Got the set from a garage sale for $1.00 :-), so I can't complain.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look. Hope you like it.

Whenever I see your cards, Barb, I am always so impressed. Your wax paper technique turned out so beautiful...my wax paper attempt took a quick detour to the trash can. The circle with the silhouette stamp is stunning, and I love your little pink border. I am also in awe of how you always get everything glued down with even margins...not one of my strong suits. Right into my favs.

This has a very calm oriental feel about it. So very beautiful in pink and black. I love the textured colour of your resist technique in the circle. Splendid card!

Truly beautiful CAS design, Barb. Love the design you created in the bg circle and a very similar design in your framing DP. Lovely choice of silhouetted image too. I have this stamp and must use it....you've inspired me.

I love everything about this...You ROCKED this technique...and your choice of the silhouette image is so perfect. Love black and white and pink together. Beautiful job!
