Is it almost Friday and I am still working on Monday! I love Spirelli so had to do this one. I cut out the scalloped oval and just put a few single strands of silver gray embroidery floss on it. I was thinking 'spider web'. I was digging around to see what was next and a wax paper butterfly from another project fell right on the strings. It looked "ghostly" and there was my idea. I didn't think the wax paper would hold up on a card so I cut one out of some silver paper with another Spellbinders Die and followed the die lines with a fine black marker. I really love how this turned out. I hope you do too.

I like this, Carol! The partial Spirelli looks great, definitely web-like, though I hope the butterfly has just landed and isn't caught. I find waxed paper to be tough enough to stand up to a lot more than you'd expect, but you wouldn't have been able to add those lovely detail lines.

Great CAS card, Carol! LOVE the way you did the Spirelli on just part of your oval. Sooo cool! I have yet to try that craft. Neat "ghost" butterfly. Good idea.
