The Hope You Can Cling To challenge was to be inspired by someone you consider a hero. I chose my Dad. He was a wonderful man who inspired others to be better people and taught me to love life and those around me. I miss him every day.
I dug around for these long-forgotten stamps that speak to me so clearly about family. I continue to use Connie Stewart's system of flash cards. I'm really glad I learned her system.
Thanks for looking. Susie

I love how you've taken the Seaside Sketches set and breathed new life into it by pairing it with Kinda Eclectic! The father and son image is classic, and it looks terrific with the sunburst behind it. Your card brings on a peaceful, content, warm feeling.

What a remarkable card!
Love how the sun burst is wonderful, and frames the image perfectly

This is such a fabulous image to honour your Father! He sounds like a wonderful man, you are truly blessed. I love how you kept the colours soft and light, the cream and blue is a serene colour combo - thanks so much for sharing your card and your hero story in this challenge!
