I used two challenges to make this card for our little grandson. The spider was stamped, colored twice, and the second one mounted over the first for added dimension.
I watched the tutorial on spirelli, but wound my thread differently because I ended up with a single circle on the back instead of the crossed threads.
After taping my starting thread, I came up and went down and the fourth scallop and came up at the very next scallop, repeating around the circle. It looks the same on the front, but it's cleaner on the back.

LOL, I don't think I've ever even consciously looked at the back of mine. I must see it, because I certainly always turn it over to tape the end of the cord down, but I certainly couldn't tell you what it looks like. Once the front looks good, why worry! That has to be one of the cutest spiders I've seen, too.
